I ski at 7springs and we have A LOT of greybird and partial cloud cover days. Because of this I need goggle lenses that are great in low light. People have told me that rose and yellow are the best tint colors for low light.
I prefer a persimmon lens but it's very personal and not everybody is the same. Try a few out and see what works best for you and your eyes. The sensor lenses are quite good but I find the color variation to be a bit much at times.
This, everyone goes on about yellow/permission and the like, but I find nothing even comes close to the smith clear lens, and I've been in some rather shitty conditions.
Rose is more of an all-round tint; I prefer it to persimmon/orange. A yellow base is my favourite for low light but it sucks if the sun breaks through during the day.
I also like rose but I find that my eyes deal with a slightly brighter color of lens better in flat light- the rose if very soft and muted (which is nice sometimes too) whereas the persimmon seems to brighten things up a bit more. Just a personal preference, and I don't like clear goggles at all but hey if they work for you then roll with it. :)
