Maybe for you. But Tabke, Hoji, Candide and many other pros are all switching over to full reverse for a reason. It's no secret that full reverse sucks on hard snow, but it's soo worth it when you're skiing anything soft

There's your problem. Volkl designed their full reverse skis for places that aren't the midwest, especially the shiro. Get a ski that's optimized for your personal terrain; don't complain about skis sucking in conditions they were never designed for. To keep this post relevant, here's the GPO Tabke is using for the FWT. Maybe praxis will start offering custom camber profiles next year

Hardly.
My Bacons were probably my favorite skis of all time, and my Opus are a close second. My Chopsticks are absolutely awesome for deep Bohemia days, and Helldorados are quite possibly one of the best one skis quivers I have ridden. I'm just a die hard Volkl fan and I would love to see them make a ski that can compete.
I just hate full rocker for an everyday ski...
Can't get enough power or pop out of them

Nope, 2 years ago Full Tilt released the soul shell, which is still used on the Wallisches, Seths and First Chairs which have full replaceable rubber soles, but they aren't vibram.

I was fortunate enough to ski this is week. It is the OMW (One man wolf pack) it's got the bright yellow base kinda like the Al Dente from Armada. It's a fun ski the OMW. SUPER POPPY. What's nice is it still holds a crazy edge because it has a tip to tail vertical sidewall. Also skiied some of the nRGY stuff from nordica. It's more all mountain but those skis rip too. Slow early rise, taper in the tip and tail and metal in the skis. Look out for Nordica they're bringing some cool stuff to the table next year with some clean, simple graphics but the shapes on the skis are looking good!!! They'll be releasing the nRGY stuff tomorrow 1/27/13 on their facebook and youtube so keep your eyes peeled.

My dad skis RTM 84's as his only EC/QC ski. He seems to like the full rocker a lot, and yes he has skied R/C or R/C/R numerous times. I think the key to skiing reverse camber on hard snow is finesse, you just cant power them them a cambered ski. My dad's always been a very 'smooth' skier, and not a very big guy either. Just some food for thought.

Just heading back from a day at ispo spent in the ski halls seeing all the new stuff from the companies. Got photos and catalogs from most of the main freeski companies so if there is somethong you want specific info on drop me a pm. I will be psting some stuff though. Rossignol/Look are coming out with the new Axial3 binding, this new binding for 2015 keeps the proven toe from previous generations but where the change has come is in the new heel. The new heel is designed around a new oversized heel linkage which increases the coupling strength all while DECREASING the weight significantly. It is also a metal pocket for the pole so releasing the binding will not deface the finish. There is also a new Pivot 12 at a $249 price point.

I believe they are the 2015 Dropkicks but many Full Tilt Athletes will be showcasing them in Sochi. They are being released in conjunction with the Olympics to build hype for Full Tilt. There is also an accompanying social media campaign #whatarethosegreenboots. They are definitely reference on several website as the 2015 Drop Kick.

Volkl adds a Three that looks absolutely humungous, Faction adds a 2.0, and may have added others (but I can't read the writing), Atomic adds an Automatic 102 and some seriously sick graphics to all of their skis, and other stuff...

I'm on board with your call on the recoils but I think the green and black ones are part of the annex line up, either the 98 or 108. Shape and rivet placement unchanged from this year. Same goes for the yellow/white/black ones next to them.
