Text message alert noise ad?

ad just popped up and it said something about 1 new message, but the annoying thing is it kept on making a text alert noise, is this supposed to happen? pretty irritating.

A virus on NS or a virus on mine? It'd be the first virus I've gotten in years, + why would a virus plant itself on a web browser than can simply be stopped by closing the page?

I'm not sure, ask the virus.

Well i can say with near absolute certainty it's not on my end, nothing on the virus scans, + it'd be unheard of.
