I was recently interested in buying the new 2014 Line Blends but then my local mountain is having a ski swap. Should I go with buying the new skis or go to the ski swap and see what they have there? If I do get the Blends what size should I get i'm 5'10 and 155 pounds.

i'd wait for the ski swap, might as well check it out
as for length, general rule of thumb is your height give or take a few centimeters depending on your style/skill/preferences

well the good and bad news is that nowadays, there are a lot of skis that fit that description. 5 or 10 years ago, for better or worse, there were only a few
i havent paid attention so much to skis the past few years. you should list what you like to ski and what kind of attributes you want in your ski (width, flex, etc) and people will be able to offer suggestions cause right now it's a very open ended question
also search this site for already made threads. don't use the search bar though, it blows, instead go to google and search for stuff like normal but put site:newschoolers.com in front of your search terms
