So what if there were what -- 3 years they didn't make the tournament? Something like that. Name a team that's had more success in the tournament over that time period. UNC hasn't made the tournament every year in that time period either, yet they're universally considered a "Blue Blood."

Meh, we could go back and forth for a while providing arguments that attempt to prove our point. But basically, UConn deserves more respect than it gets, and I think this championship is finally starting to open people's eyes to that. It's impossible to make a clean cut argument they're the best team of the past 16 years (though I personally think 4 championships while the next best teams have 2 is enough), but I think it's absolutely safe to say they're top 5 minimum.

If only our football team was decent enough to get us into a power conference...
