How has no one mentioned Villanova? Beat Kansas/Iowa and has been rolling over teams. Only loses are to Cuse which is understandable and Creighton who shot 60% from three dropping 63 points on 3's alone, which will never happen again... Nova by 6

i don't think people under such close watch should be held to such high standards of behavior. yeah he fucked up by pushing the guy, and yeah it was worth a technical, but that's exactly what he did: he fucked up. people should just move on. he's on the court because he's a basketball player, not because he's a star citizen. these guys are under extreme pressure, obviously the guy said something (whether it was racist or not) to him trying to get a reaction, and sometimes people crack under pressure.

i don't even like marcus smart nor am i a fan of his team but i think everyone should give him a break.

pushing the guy is bad enough but making up lies about him being racist is way more fucked up and idk why that part isn't getting any coverage.

watching it live and taking it for what it was its obvious marcus smart was in the wrong. he was only able to gain support after lying about what happened.

Ppl assumed the fan used the nword so they automatically blamed him, and even when they find out he didnt theyve already formed that thought in their mind so instead of changing their mind they change (weaken) their argument and try to equate saying the nword with saying 'piece of crap'

hes gonna be a bust, what part of his game is really that great? hes a little above average at everything and until this year his intangibles were arguably his biggest asset.

To be fair to Smart it was a fat old white Texas Tech fan, I really doubt he simply said "piece of crap". College basketball players are hard body I don't think getting called a piece of crap would rile any of them up that much.

Hahaha bullshit. Also, I love the shockers, but I have issues with this number one ranking. How can you be number one when you haven't played anyone who matters? I think they're good, they'll go to the elite eight, but that schedule is a complete joke.
