Looking pretty good apart from the USA on the leg.

Personally I don't hold out much hope for team GB's uniform

I'm not exactly sure as to the Why, but when I was at USCSA (collegiate) nationals it was also clumped into freestyle and I believe also in USSA. It may be because snowboarders also do cross.
I do remember at nationals though a lot of the alpine racers were too afraid to do skiercross, they didn't want to get hurt.

i love the halfpipe coat why wouldn't u want more pockets?? also i wanna see pics of the sweatshirts they're part cashmere! i'm not usually big on the RWB but this is good. also they sewed in fabric that summited Mt. Everest! awesome

Here is a great review by Freeskier of how the Outfit was developed. Lots of thought went into every detail, and the athletes themselves were a huge part of the design process.

Rebel Americana speaks to the subculture of rebellion, and we think that will be the underlying presence of these athletes in Sochi.” Jasmin Ghaffarian

“I’m real stoked on how [the products] turned out. They bring all the aspects of freeskiing into the outfits. There are many different styles you can choose from, you have options. Even though it’s a uniform, you can still personalize your outfit. I’m real’ stoked about the hoodie option.” Wallisch

“They put together great outerwear, but they’ve done everything we wanted, down to face masks, down to the fact that the boys like to wear basketball shorts under their pants—so they’ve designed basketball shorts for them. We have everything we could possibly need and more. I think my favorite thing is actually the hoodie. I’ve never had a cashmere hoodie.” Maddie Bowman

Honestly sewing in fabric from everest is plain stupidity.

It's be summited well over 5,000 times, and really isn't a big deal anymore. If you have enough money, you will summit.

That have been up there for 50+ years.

His point needs to be taken with a grain of salt. It's a fuck ton easier for people to climb Everest than 30 years ago because of new gear, routes/ropes, etc... all of which cost money....

Unfortunately, as far as I'm aware, the TeamGB slopestyle/pipe clothing "sponsor" has already be decided. No Woodsy input needed!

Yeah whoever makes the Olympic team has to wear the official uniform. I don't think they can even promote their own sponsors if I understand it right.

All athletes are required to remove any stickers, or brand recognition from all helmets and skis. Blank skis/boards and helmets

The whole no sponsors allowed olympic shit is so god damn stupid. They literally say "Except as permitted by the IOC Executive Board, no competitor, coach, trainer or official who participates in the Olympic Games may allow his person, name, picture or sports performances to be used for advertising purposes during the Olympic Games. ... Unless your kellogs, visa, mcdonalds, samsung, panasonic, dow, or coca-cola." Or any other corporation that has enough money to buy Olympic ad space. It is so fucked up, the whole point behind rule 40 was to preserve the purity of athletics and competition. Not sell it out to the highest fucking bidder.

Those are sooo much better than I was afraid they would be. The USA on the pantlegs definitely makes them look like sweatpants, but overall I'd say pretty good.

Honestly, you don't have a clue what you are talking about. The exact HIM suit that is sowed onto those patches was worn by Kris Erickson as he summited not only Everest, but then went to the South Col, took a nap for a couple hours and then bagged Lhotse's summit within 24hours of bagging Everest. Hilaree O'Neill, another TNF athlete, joined him on this and they became the first 2 to get both those summits in that time window. Oh yeah, during this same exact window Conrad Anker sent Everest without O2, becoming the first American to do so.

Yeah, Everest isn't considered AS big of a thing as it used to, but the fact that these TNF athletes went up there and absolutely slayed these peaks is a pretty solid motivator for the freeskiing athletes to realize the depth of the TNF family when it comes to the outdoors.
