So my dad is in the market for a new ski to compliment his regular groomer ski (K2 charger). We ski in VT (Okemo mostly) and he has the icy days and groomers covered, what he is looking for is something to take out when there is fresh snow or crud, as well as in the slush.
He is about 6' 1" and 170.
His friend has a pair or Nordica Helldorados and loves them, but they are too wide for my dad. Ideally he would get something:
in the 105mm underfoot range
moderate rocker
directional
~180cm long
stiff
What is out there that meets this description? Not at all opposed to a twin but it is not necessary. Looking for more of a charger than a playful ski, the helldorado is appealing because of the metal but like I said just too wide. Thanks in advance, +K to any good suggestions.
