So I straight air as soon as I'm in the air
notice a snowboarder on the knuckle
Fuck.
Crash right into her
We're both hurt laying on the ground
Out of nowhere flying gaper dad tackles me.
Screams "Stay on the ground!"
200 pound gaper dad on my back screaming that i could of killed her.
Tell him I couldn't see her
He starts screaming "Ski Patrol!"
I then get harassed for 20 minutes till ski patrol comes and cuts my pass.

That's such a little bitch move, if I was coming at someone and they hit me with a ski pole, I'd probably start laughing and just drop the whole thing and ski away.

Some kid took my 178 TC's that had marker jester pros on them, and left (what I assume we're his skis) 171 TC's with marker griffons on them, this was at a bill I ski at 2-5 times a week and I never saw those skis again :'(

That was probably an honest mistake more than a dick move, I don't exactly look at my bindings to check if they're the right ones when I go to grab my skis.

That SUCKS. Not as bad as getting your skis stolen outright I guess, that is if you took his skis...

Buy a pair of J skis. I doubt you'll have that problem again.

probly an honest mistake but i cased a 5 and one of my skis popped off and stayed on the knuckle. a snowboarder then sent it down backwards making the brake pop off.

why?
if you had no brakes:
-it would be very hard to carry your skis on your shoulder
-you drop your skis to click in and they just slide away
-you crash and a ski comes off you see it at the bottom of the mountain or its lost forever

That exact same thing happened to me on the last day of last season. I left my step ups at the bottom and some guy left me his step ups with the same bindings, completely trashed. I still don't know if it was an honest drunk mistake, because everyone was drunk on the last day, or a massive dick move.

They annoy me when I carry them, and they don't do anything for me in terms of running away. If I'm on a trail like a blue where if I lose a ski I'll be fine and I'll be able to get down on one ski, they stop. But the brakes wont stop the ski if I'm on a steep trail where I actually need them to, so I find them useless. They only work on terrain that isn't that steep that I could get down on one ski anyway. I'm not saying I take them off or anything. I just find them annoying when I carry the skis because I don't carry them on my shoulder, I just grip the skis with one hand in between the bindings and carry them like a briefcase.

I was 14 at my local hill and these kids around my age came up to my friend and I and one of the kids started talking shit about my friends skis (note these were snowboarders) so i yell don't make fun of my friends skis! And threw an ice ball at the kid and nailed him straight in the face and the kid started crying. So later that day this huge kid that was standing next to a jump so I say what's up and he unstraps his bindings like a faggot so I let him knowing he couldn't catch me. So this kid Charges me and I ski past him and he dives FACE FIRST into a snow bank and starts crying. Best day ever

my friend was once hit by a runaway ski from a kid who broke his brakes landing switch. He got a huge bruise on his leg and tore open his pants. Could have been way worse.

I'm surprised companies haven't developed two-way brakes that dont shear off when going switch. I guess that will have to by my contribution to the skiing community as an engineer...

This dad starts yelling and cursing at us in lift line for sagging. He said it was inappropriate for children yet he was cussing in front of his kids. So we get on the lift and at the top we pull our pants all the way down(we where wearing basketball shorts underneath so nothing was even remotely showing) and when he gets off he starts swinging at us with his ski poles while calling us fucking mussy hoodlums. He barely skimmed me and we skied the run with our pants down.

he should be able to tell the difference between 171 and 178

and the griffon's are white, my jester's were the bright green ones
