who picks the music for msp???

no literally, who picks the music for msp, because i would really like to talk to them...

so i watched yearbook again last night for the first time since i saw it in the theater...and the music was fucking horrifying. the first time you don't really pay attention (or at least i dont) to the music, you just watch the skiing...that and we were drinking 40's...so i don't really remember the music. but last night is was so bad that i didn't make halfway through the segment before skipping to the next one...

hugo's segment has probably the worst song i've ever heard in my entire life...abma's song sucks ass too. his skiing is so nuts, i can't believe that i wouldn't want to watch the rest of it just because i coudln't stand the music.

now i'm a huge music snob, but i expect a helluva lot more from a movie with a million dollar budget (or so i've heard). seriously who in the fuck picks the music for msp? i think a lot of it has been bad, but this is fucking ridiculous.

I thought Focused had a great soundtrack, probably one of my favorites ever but then Yearbook came out and the musci is just aweful. I though they did a good job in Focused of finding good underground stuff. Seth's track was soo good and I love the Theivery Corp. track that is in the intro.

i would be willing to bet that MSP spends more time than other companies editing. PBP and MSP are the only two companies that have ever remotely decent film editing. PBP has some weak ass editing movies too... 1242 proved that they can throw togather a good movie though. Thankfully oakley has super deep pockets and can pay people to spend alot of time in the studio.'

you, my friend, have earned a nomination for this weeks GW award. although thats your opinion, it must be one of the worst opinions of all time.
