I never understood the hate towards Gato, always thought he was a chill dude. Posted something a while back that I probably shouldnt have and instead of banning me he deleted the post and sent me a nice message just letting me know I shouldnt have posted it. Just dont post stupid shit or act like a jackass and you wont have a problem with any of them.

The fact that you hate Mike-O so much just makes me respect him so much more. Hope he makes a return some day. It's nice to have creative members who add to the site instead of just bitching about those who do.

It goes both ways, you seem really hurt that not everybody liked his mediocre creative endeavors that people blindly loved because they were some weird, homoerotic fan fiction to skiing figures that 90% of NS hasn't even met. And he was always bitching on his high horse about some matter or another just so he could use some elevated diction and sound like a snob. On the other hand there are members like Cultara or somebody else that put out good stuff and don't act like dbags all the time.

Do you remember the thread he made about whether or not he should take a genius test or MENSA or something like that? He kept saying how he was a genius but he didn't know if he was smart enough to pass the test and he acted like he wouldn't be adequate if he failed. It was the biggest "Let me just jerk off my ego under the guise of I'm really just a tortured soul" especially when every comment was "Oh do it Mike, you're so smart you'll pass for sure." It was like a girl posting on facebook "I'm so ugly," just trolling for compliments

Mike-O and Mary-O...is there any connection? Or one of them saw the others name and thought it was a good idea? I would love to be a mod someday but I'll probably never meet Bishop or any of them in person so it doesn't look too likely.

But for real what are the criteria for being a mod on here. And who decides? Like... How does that go down? At least when I was made mod on a forum I just got a message saying blah blah you do a really good job on here blah blah do you have enough time to MOD for us blah blah.

pretty much the same story. If the need is there, or if there is a member who stands out as a worthy candidate (active, good poster, etc) its usually a quick discussion amongst mods and then a message to them

Honestly though I couldn't handle being a mod on here, I spend too much time as it is, and all that extra work you guys have to do... Props is all I can say.
