Let me tell you as someone who has a ski tattoo. You don't just go and say I want a ski tattoo and have people give you ideas. Think about what you could see yourself with for the rest of your life. And how you want skiing to be represented to you and others

definitley this. i just got a tattoo (of a wolf if you are wondering) and i have my reasons for it.

but as someone who loves skiing so damn much, i know i will get a ski tattoo. i already have somewhat of a design for it. however im going to take some time and see if after a while, what i pick still suits and satisfies me. its just important to make your tattoo personal and meaningful to you.

skiing is meaningful to me but i dont want to get some generic one. take some time and think about it. i had been thinking about my wolf for over a year. its not something you can wake up one day and go get (at least not to me)

I've had this one for a while now. I thought about getting a snowflake or mountain, but its just so cliche. I really wanted diamonds all throughout highschool especially after I dislocated my left shoulder while skiing. I finally got it after when I was about 20. Definitely worth it. It really pushes me to not say "no" to things when I want to back down/having a certain rep to live up to with being the guy with double backs on your back haha.
Just make sure that it's something that you want and for a good reason.

it doesnt really embody all that skiing is and the lifestyle, but i hand drew it and so its really personal and means a lot more to me than just a pair of skis.

exactly i understand that, but my brakes point towards the tails of my skis. they arent pointed towards the toe piece, are their bindings in which the brakes point towards the toe piece?
