Has anyone applied Neverwet on outerwear?

just wondering if anyone has put that neverwet coating on outerwear yet and if so, how well did it work?

put it on a black backpack. it's going to leave a white haze thats really visible on dark stuff. It wears away like all other waterproof coatings but it's good while it lasts.
