Just wondering, but does anyone on here listen to hardcore/punk music? It seems like most everyone just listens to rap. By hardcore music, I mean shit like this:

Why dont you use the searchbar and go back to the thread I made, where people talked about actually good hardcore music?
Anywho, edgeday was sick, say Until the End, XbishopX, Criminal Instinct, Foundation, Orthodox and a couple others. Kid ended up snapping his leg during Foundation, so vibes to him.
I didn't bother to read much into this thread but depending on my mood I'll listen to a bit of hardcore. Mainly Turnstile, Expire, Down to nothing and Kids like us. Been suuuuper into The story so far lately as well but thats more punk.

MinggADTR is more punk pop/ alternative in my opinion.
Parkway Drive is fucking ridiculous. I love their music so much.
Parkway were pretty tight a few years ago and it was even better cause they were somewhat local but I grew out of hardcore stuff pretty quickly. I don't know how I listened to it heaps..
Ill come back just to post a local Hatecity (atlanta) band thats been blowing up. One of the meanest shows, every time. Fun fact, the vocalist, Josiah, got stabbed in a fight a few months back, at a show their playing with Power Trip. After getting stabbed, gets up smiles, looks at the guy and says ' you fucked up ' and then lays into him. Turned into a 20 person fight in the middle of a bad area in Atlanta.
lol, last two posts are solid. Since when is PD, ADTR etc. hardcore? I'm not that into the hardcore scene, though I know that those who are definitely do not want that shit to be associated with them. Anyways, recently been getting into Comeback Kid and Nails (they are fucking heeeeeaaaaaavy).

Nails and Comeback Kid are both AMAZING life.

I'll check those out later for sure. I really want to go to more hardcore shows. Only seen one actual hardcore band live and it was dope (Trash Talk opening for Dillinger Escape Plan). Though I have seen DEP around three or four times. Nuts. Was going to see Comeback kid, but they weren't headlining, and I didn't really care for the main act. NExt time though...
Was also gonna add GAZA to the list, but I'm not sure if they are actually considered hardcore. maybe more grind. Either way, they are loud and heavy as well.

If you get the chance, CBK is worth seeing no matter who else is playing. Just leave after CBK plays.
I saw them with Underoath playing a few years back, and left halfway through Underoath(headliners)
can say that it was one of the worst live shows. Id never pay willingly to see them ever again (underoath)

Oh ya it was good. You can never go wrong with DEP.
I've been noticing a lot of female fronted hardcore lately actually. I'm digging Wolf Down. Another one I have to check out more. This thread is giving some good new music.
I used to listen to defeater, they're pretty good, and they have powerful lyrics, amity kicks ass, and they might be considered more pop punk than punk/ hardcore but the story so far
