So ive been searching around and a lot of people are using this astro turf shit. Only problem is a whole setup will add up. Ive also seen videos with orange looking fencing and white plastic fencing. In your opinion, what is the cheapest way to make a summer rail setup that is a ton of fun?
I used white fencing that I trash picked, it worked really well and was much faster than turf. The only thing you need to do is get turf for the jump onto the rail, so you have more control when jumping on the rail.
Go dumpster dive, and get pallets. Find new home being constructed, and then wait until after 6pm to go jump into some dumpsters. You can also just go ask them during the day. You have a better chance of finding wood at the sites that are in the beginning stages of starting a house.
Make a hybrid drop in of green garden fencing, and turf. A 5ft wide 10ft long thing of turf will cost $15-20 and last you for years.
This whole drop in was made of wood and pallets I grabbed.

Fuck yeh it works, I learned to 270 and 450 off that ghetto rail, The rail is not even attached its just laying there. Now that I got a job I am making a better set up.

Honestly 2x4s and pvc are stupidly cheap. IF you can find a little this and that along the way and have like 50 bucks. You can make a pretty ridiculously ballin setup.
Use old carpet and a lot of soap. You can always find wood at the local dump, mine has a big burn pile that you can take from at any time. use pallets for the drop in, those are always free. look around at construction site for pvc, they usually have extra they can give you.
