Drama Llama - I'm back!

Whats up NS! I'm sooooo excited to be back!

Its been way to long since I've seen most of you. I've been traveling the world since our last visit and look forward to sharing my stories.

This first photo is right after I hit rock bottom. I sat in my room everyday starring out the window wondering if I'd ever get back on the slopes. I've worked really hard and can't wait to get back on skis this winter! I'm stoked to share some photos.

I'm looking for some homies to film with this winter. Hit me up if you're looking to add to your crew!

narrowed it down. In the last picture it's clearly sunny, with angles on the llama head making it early afternoon. maybe 2 pm.

There's Rhus typhina, Acer Saccharum, Solidago sp. (couldn't possibly tell the type without a sample, but probably S. canadensis), a few other Asteraceae sp.


This narrows it down to essentially the range of Rhus typhine:

Now since it's sunny we look at where it was sunny at about 2 pm that also matches with the range of the species present.

but we can clearly see that the leaves haven't changed enough for it to be as far north as Ottawa/Montreal, and the chances of having Reed Canary Grass, what is probably Canada Goldenrod, Staghorn Sumac, and what looks like a few Sugar Maple in the same area means it's not too far south either.

So we narrow it down to 3 possible locations.

unfortunately the leaves are peaking in Southern New England, probably in Michigan, and they already began to turn in PA/Mid-atlantic. So the foliage investigation is a bit off.

I'm a tree/shrub expert, and I would hesitate to identify any plants from such a poor quality photo that is zoomed out so far. There are many plants that look very similar and are in the same family, but are found very far apart. One good example is Trillium, anyone who's been to Mt. Hood in Oregon has seen those, but there's a variation of the species that grows all over Vermont too.

I'm still impressed by all the detective work. This was an awesome time to re-join NS hehe

on point using the Sumac to narrow it down though, def an East Coaster, and likely not a New Englander. The photo might have been taken a different day from when you looked at the weather

After seeing this map, ill be on the look out for a male 5-7 ft tall, wearing normal ass clothes, and a llamahead. I'll cover a small area of upstate new york if he comes in my zone hes gonna have a bad time.

Man if i ever see anyone walking around wearing a llama head im going to take them down. As for i hope all you fellow newschoolers will do the same. Lets rain down justice on this motherfucker!
