Oh yeah, definitely has a 5400rpm drive, very slow.
BUT don't expect this ssd to just make your computer brand new again, it will boot fast and open programs fast but overall performance wont increase.

These OWC mecury drives are top notch, very reliable and OWC has great customer support and lots of tutorials to help you install their products, only kick is their drives are $10-20 more expensive then some ssds you can find on newegg/b&h

Overall, if price isn't a huge issue, id recommend the OWC. The scandisk 256 is a great choice, the one I posted are slower versions but they don't make a huge difference and they're $20-40 cheaper.
