Sure, other Nigerian Royals and imposters have made mistakes in the past but that doesn't mean they're all bad. What if the Nigerian National Freeskiing Team really needs help? Don't worry about them. I'm sure there are still plenty of elderly people out there that have yet to be scammed out of their life savings.

I know a kid who fell for this once, they transferred a shit load of money into his account and the next day all his money was gone and it said he negative like $10,000 he's an idiot but luckily the bank was able to retrieve his money..

my grandma did send a bunch of money to some Keith alexander, head of the NSA, really into my grandma, and this Keith,who were currently in afghanistan had added her on skype... seriously this is kinda sad.

Thats what they hope for, they're using selective bias (in the real scams). They dont want to waste their time negotiating with smart people, so they make their ads in a way that only stupid people/elderly will respond, who are more likely to actually send money.
