I would like to potentially buy a pair of skis online and a pair of bindings from elsewhere. It would be $80 to have them mounted at my local shop since I didn't buy the skis from them. No way in hell I would trust myself to mount them but how come shops are so ridiculous about this and is there a way to avoid it?
