Sorry to sorta spam you all, but I'm working on creating a music service meant to evoke how you WANT to feel. And I would like to make it the go-to music discovery and streaming service for all the fellow addict-shredders out there. So please check us out at: evoke.fm, and if you like (or don't like) what you see, I could really use some general feedback. But of course some general ridicule could be order too :).. I deserve it for this post haha.

Its a great idea but it needs more songs and genres, for example some 70s music would me nice.

Evoke is still in alpha - Cole's adding new music and tweaking things constantly! You should sign up for the email list to be notified when new stuff comes out!

you should allow users to edit playlists and input songs and categorize them the way they like. if one song is categorized by different people its up to you or whichever category gets chosen the most. this could work

Like this though not sure I quite understand please explain: "if one song is categorized by different people its up to you or whichever category gets chosen the most." Overall, would you actually want to add songs yourselves, then let the categorizing ensue or categorize based on a large library or both?

I do know of Songza - I'm just hoping to do some unique things with evoke, such that it becomes a pretty meaningful thing - rather than simply being a concierge-like radio service. Get me?

There's no iphone app currently, but the site does work on mobile - only you have to touch the play button due to mobile-web media restrictions.

Stoked you did all that @Putissiman! Subscribers will get to test a native app as well.

Just added another genre, and a bunch of new music in our most popular playlist: relaxed/hip-hop. The mac miller tracks should be a little more spread out too haha.. More updates coming soon.
