Fuck it... we can't come up with something... and hell we probably shouldn't.

So we're bringing you in on it - likely just like we should have from the beginning.

My vote is to simply have the topsheet be a gigantic full frontal shot of the most beautiful Llama you've ever seen. Bases say 'newschoolers' and that's it.

We have until Monday.

If you feel like designing the ski, then fucking go for it. If you feel like making suggestions then more power to you. If you just feel like commenting / voting - then please take part.

lets make the most fucked up cool thing ever.

Thats even better! thug llama on top and the nerd llama is on the base. Or another idea is a full size range graphic of llamas skiing in a breck or some terrain park.

The Osama's would be great but the well designedc mellow low-key topsheet with some crazy base would be so great. I can guarantee I wont purchase a pair if its some absolute craziness, but an all black topsheet with a stylish white NS logo/bases that pop? Thats right up my alley.

There are going to be 100 pairs made tops. The target market of this run of NS skis is obviously NS members. I'm going to go out and guess you haven't done much reading up on J skis.

I would buy that in a second. I'd buy it in a half second if it had Osama on the bottom. OR vice versa. It also needs a reference to chads gap, which i'm amazed hasn't been mentioned yet.

I'm sick of the random internet pic collages for skis. Sure, they may be funny, but they look like crap and have little aesthetically value.

A NS ski should be clean and stylish. As Bishop said, there's a lot of really great content coming out of NS and this ski should represent that.

Yes but isnt them being funny and looking like crap what NS is about?

Im not here to see a ski that is super clean cut plain and simple. Big mofucking whales, lama-unicorns, osama pro's etc.

Personally, i think what you have drawn is sick and would make a great ski graphic. IMO, it's not an NS ski.

Yeah but then people will take it seriously and outsiders might buy them. It would have never been put to the boards if they wanted a clean professional design. I vote for horrible photoshops, whimsical fantasy creatures and subtle inference to inside jokes that only someone who knows will understand.

I would want people who have no idea what they are to be like "Wow those look like a pile of fuck" while people who know love them.

It's not an inside joke if everybody gets it ;)



That said, man you do some nice work! I love the goggle llama, and you should make die cuts of that- I would TOTALLY buy some from you!

I think the ski should have funny elements, like the llama and spork, but not that it should look like crap. Skis are an awesome canvas for great designs and I feel like a lot of the industry is lazy in that regard.

I made this a while ago, kind of like a jolly roger but for NS. May or may not be useful.

I second the idea that legendary threads should be on it. Like chad's gap, faunt got bigger, the I think it was laced thread maybe.

One of the great things about the two is both h(counting line) ave been around for really the entirety of the sport. Consider that SkierX's account is older than some of the younger members. I think it would be great to embrace every ns and newschoolers.com logo on the top sheet.
