Lib-Tech custom snowboard maker, transfer to skis?

So recently I have found that lib-tech has an online custom snowboard maker, where you choose top sheet, base, sidewall, and a select variety of shapes.

How cool would it be if you really wanted a pair of skis like halo2s but you decided you didnt want that [ugly] topsheet (inb4 but 'murica swag)and you wanted the alphaX topsheet. It would be cool if someone like J-skis did that, as he is only pressing limited skis would it be that much of a hassle to put a different top sheet on or different base?

I'm pretty sure in the J Skis Powder Mag article it said that you could design your own topsheets. Although putting another brand's topsheet on your custom J ski might be copyright infringement or something along those lines.

Folsom Custom Skis, Prior skis, and there's definitely a few more out there doing this. The price tags are understandably absurd though.

Personally, I'm not too worried about needing a supplier of custom skis...

Still do make them. They have magne-traction mini mag and reCurve rocker.

I've been to the prior factory, skis are mainly pow and extremely expensive.

I'm curious why it matters? But if you really do give a shit I will tell you.

My wife loves snow more than any other chick I've met. That should be enough, but it's just the start. Sure, I'd prefer a wife that skis, but I would not trade my wife for a skier chick any day. Plus she lets me buy as many pairs of skis as I want.

I also spend more time on the slopes with snowboarders than skiers but that's hardly relevant.
