Hey, this summer I tore my AC joint on the bicycle and was wondering if anyone had any advice as to good exercises/stretches for rehab? I searchbar'd for this and couldn't find anything, but if this is a repost point me in the right direction.
Ahh been there, done that. No bueno dude. My shoulders are not even at all anymore hah, got a big bump where the end of my collar bone sticks up, it's all good though, doesn't bother me anymore. It took about 3 months of taking it easy to recover I'd guess. I did a lot of exercises with resistance bands once I got some of the motions back. God damn, that hurt like hell, good luck.
I tore mine few year ago. I basically did nothing for 6 weeks except some easy resistance band exercises. I started going to a crossfit gym almost immediately after the 6 weeks was up, but took things really easy. Now I do a lot of Olympic lifting and snatch 240 and c+j 285 and my shoulder has never given me trouble. Just take it easy and don't rush the recovery. Also, I totally have the weird bump on my shoulder.
Haha yeah the bump still catches me off guard sometimes (i have like an inch difference in my arm length as well) but thanks for the advice. Anything you would specifically not do?
