Getting Un-friended on Facebook

I'm not a big Facebook user, and I hardly ever post anything. Literally never add a status and hardly ever add pics or anything. Sometimes I'll "like" or comment on a picture or status, but for the most part, I shouldn't be popping up on peoples news feeds that often. However, every now and then I'll notice someone who I haven't talked to for awhile unfriend me. I know, the obvious is that they just unfriened me because they haven't talked to me in awhile. But why would they even bother? Since I hardly show any activity on Facebook, I won't ever be showing up peoples news feeds. When I delete someone, it's usually because I'm sick of whatever crap they are constantly posting. I'm just concerned that maybe I clicked on a bad link that hacked my account and has me posting crap without me even knowing it. Cause sometimes I've seen suspicious looking vidoes posted by someone who wouldn't be interested in that video. So is it possible that I clicked a bad link some time ago and has me posting crap on peoples walls?

I'm more or less the same in the way I use facebook. I do, however, unfriend people. I take pride in having 'few' friends (and I still have like 300-400 or something). And there's no way I have that many friends. For every person that adds me on Facebook I try to delete someone that I don't consider a friend. Ever since I got facebook like 3-4 years ago I've lost contact with a lot of people - which I really don't care about for the most part. 'Fewer' friends on there, but at least everyone is a friend. Every time I see a person with 800 friends I'm just like, whatever. ESPECIALLY, if that person's 'best' friends is someone they've known for like half a year. Fucking hate that.
Besides, how do you even know if someone you never talk to unfriends you?

Seriously man, who cares.
They made a decision to end any "relationship" (if you want to call it that) that you guys ever had cuz your lives' are going diff directions. Kinda the "nice knowing you, hopefully i'll see you around someday" attitude.
That's not too big a deal dude, especially once you start to get older like out of college.
Try to start learning the diff b/w acquaintances and friends, define your own line b/w the two, and try not to get them mixed up. The sooner you learn this, the better. It's gonna save your ass out of some hairy situations in the future, I'm almost certain.
If you are sad or disappointed they unfriended you, try resparking a relationship IN PERSON with them and see what happens (over facebook is stupid and keeps true emotions hidden vs. actually talking it out with him / her).
Otherwise, I think that they probably did a favor for both of you, you should take the hint, and move on.

And, If you want to see if your shit is hacked, go to the activity log on your FB and look for anything you didn't personally do.
