Replying to My skis stolen on the 1st of July

After a day at the lake yesterday i returned to the pleasant surprise of a kicked in door. This is the second time my house has been broken into, i am beggining to believe that my community is truly becoming a ghetto. My instant reaction was my skis, where are my skis. Sure enough, the geniuses who did the deed walked right through my living room, past dvd players, a surround sound system, TV and the like into my room. There nothing was altered except the resting place of my most prized possesions, a Pair of 01/02 Vinnie 10's and a brand new pair of unmounted Pocket Rockets. All gone to some drunk who likely shuns snow and craves lysol. Skiing is what i live for, and my skis are more important to me than my education (slight exageration). I need them back. If ANYONE on here has ANY clue about this disaster please post it here. Idea's regarding who would do such a thing, hearing about these skis turning up somewhere, or any words of wisdom that would help me accept the fact that a dumpster dweller will likely trade in my treasures for some JD's and a newspaper would be greatly appreciated.
