Look Watts, I am willing to bet your viewpoints on big mountain being far superior to park stem from your lack of skill in the park, and there is nothing wrong with the fact that you couldn't progress beyond a 360 and lost interest. Face it, you're really just upset that you suck ass at park and feel the need to call out kids that are more interested in park and not what you're interested in but could never grow the sack to do, just to make yourself feel better.

But if you really want me to break it down, i guess i will. First you assume that I think that big mountain is far superior to park. I never said any such thing, or even anything close to any such thing. I think park is an incredibly hard discipline and awesome to watch at the highest level. Second you assumed i hate park because I'm bad at it. Even if I did hate park, which I don't, it's not because I'm bad at it, it's just because I don't find it as interesting or as fun to ski as the rest of the mountain. Honestly, it never even enters my mind to go into the park because i'd much rather be skiing bumps or trees or sidecountry stuff when the snow is decent, and groomers when it's an icy day. Lastly you assume I hate kids who are good at park and that i'm bad at park because i don't have the "sack" to do it. This is incorrect because I hit cliffs whenever possible when I ski which is just as, if not more, gutsy than hitting a man-made, perfectly manicured park jump.

Is that enough to warrant me calling you a fucking moron? Or do you want some more, you insecure pussy?

man icy groomers are fun as fuck, go put on some long skis and tuck only turning when the trail does down your mountains downhill coarse if it has one...can get to pretty fucking exhilarating

I saw this segment in TGR's Way of Life last night and it was just MIND BLOWING. I've never watched anything comparable, and I am still trying to understand how it got me so stoked on skiing. Sage absolutely rips.

I have no problem with people watching park, but if you find guys hitting rails and jumps more exhilarating than watching someone shred a 1,000 foot spine you got your priorities wrong.

the only kids who get hated on for skiing park are the ones who can't ski anywhere else

There isn't anything wrong with someone who would rather watch park over AK, Thats their choice.  I'm not interested in watching urban, that doesn't mean that those who do are fucking morons or have their priorities wrong.

And there isn't anything wrong with the kid who can cab 7 a 60footer but couldnt link three turns together in a foot of fresh snow. He just enjoys throwing down in the park more.

Pull your head out of your ass, other people can have different opinions.

Atomic should do a pro model ski with Sage.  The way he skis, it would be interesting to see what Sage would want in his own pow sticks.

Either you like it or not. Some look at Sage as a big mountain hero. Others look at it is 5 minutes of the same line. Who cares. You like what you like. I respect Sage and that's my inspiration, Tom Wallisch isn't shit to me and I think watching his 5 minute edits is fucking boring. Agree to disagree, sick part from Sage nontheless. What can you expect though, every film he's been in he's slayed for years now.

Exactly and Don't get me wrong on this, and This segment is proabably the wrong one to use as an example as I personally really enjoy sage's skiing (wackflip/flat3 over the crevasse from last year? was all time) and this particular AK segment was sick as fuck, I even watched it twice. But as a general rule I would rather watch Dane, Sammy, Pollard, Pettit, or Sage hit BC booters and bring park into the back country then watch the standard AK line. Yes there is slough management, and proper turn placement, and it's intense as hell, just doesn't Get to me like a sw dub 9 in the BC or Jossi taking a hundred footer deep with a cab 5. It's just a matter of preference and this is coming from a guy that spends 90% of the time hundreds of Kms from a resort (or park). Also, i respect that you don't enjoy Tom Wallisch edits and I dont think you're an idiot for it, to each their own. (Personally think he's the best person to represent our sport at Olympics)

Trust me, I can handle 40 degrees, hundreds of miles from a resort, or any civilization for that matter, with snow up to my nipples, that I don't have to share with anyone. I do it every weekend until Aprilish when I'm sick of pow and would rather spend my days on a park lift than drowning in snow.

Steep + Slarve Turn (oversteer) = Speed + Sluff (current skis)

Steep + Step Turn = Slow + Sluff (oldschool skis)

Steep + Slay Turn (carve with optional over/understeer) = Speed - Sluff [future skis: prediction]
