Sage has been slaying it for years. Definitely one of the best skiers off all time. TGR just dropped this. Straight proof.

god damn sage is incredible, i was sad when it finished, cannot wait to get this movie, so much epicness.

lol @ the kids who got bored, i can watch edit of kids spinning on rails over and over too but this is just pure ... well i dont even know the word to follow "pure" just wow.. love it...

That's because your a fucking simpleton and all you see is someone skiing down a mountain. You lack the ability to appreciate the aesthetics of the line, the sluff mangement, and putting the right turn in the right place to make it all come together.

Sage fucking pinned it this year.

It's OK guys, I watched it a second and third time to make up for the kid not enjoying it.


Sage should win balls of steel award for that line he skied surrounded by the entire mountain sluffing.

this so much, this is why i can watch big mountain for hours at a time and not be bored in the slightest

watching the lines they choose and fantasising about what line you would have tacken if you were the skier, and hoping that one day the countless hours of awesome viewing pleasure you have enjoyed will one day benifit yourself when you end up looking down something absolutely insane and you know you will slay it and your greatest dream comes true in 30 seconds of pure adrenalin and ecstasy

my thoughts exactly when I was watching this. Dreaming about that one day you finally manage to get to ski such lines. Big Mountain in Europe is great, but Alaska is on another level.

ehh i dont know about that, theyre just different. AK has better snow forsure, but theres some fuckin crazy terrain in places like chamonix

Seems like way too much effort for how much i care.

Just going to say this: If you think 5 minutes straight of Sage ripping lines is boring but 5 minutes straight of park skiing isn't you need to reconsider some of your life choices.

What life choices exactly do I need to rethink if I'd rather watch Park than AK lines? 

Personally would rather see Ahmet or Dane or Sammy or Sean or even Sage hit BC and park booters and throw tricks off natural features than straight AK lines.  I really dont see the need to rethink my life choices because of this.

All the respect in the world to Coombs, but he was from another era and certainly didn't ski mountains the way Hoji does. Coombs showed what was possible, and Hoji took it to another level with pure aggression.

Sage kills it every year. He has had his own segment dedicated to him in every TGR movie that I can remember. Best part is: He almost never fucks up. He skis AK perfectly every time. And for those wondering about buying the movie, don't even hesitate. This might be the best TGR movie since the glory days of Tangerine Dream and Anomaly.

meh, some people like watching park more. i like watching park more. i like skiing pow more, i would rather ski pow at a good mountain or in a good zone then shred park at a good mountain. What you enjoy watching and doing are 2 very different things.

I like watching fail videos on youtube, i dont like failing in real life.

So much aggression of pow vs. park on here lately

Maybe for you, but if it was up to me, all ski movies would be almost completely big mountain and powder skiing. Park and Urban are definitely fun to watch, and I have immense respect for those athletes and their skill, but I watch ski movies to see athletes taking it to remote areas and skiing the lines of their life. Just my opinion.

it is well known that sage is one of best skiers of all time but what makes him truly inspiring is his humility , kindness, and down to earth attitude. I heard that each year tgr movies come out he goes to the premiere and sees his segment once and is like "haha thats me" and doesn't watch it again. If I were as good as sage I would want to watch my segments all the time, but Sage is such a humble dude he just doesn't really give a shit and would rather chill and go shred. His artwork is pretty cool too.
