A couple times over the last few weeks the My Threads button has routed me to the page that states NS is getting fancier, i.e. administration is updating something.
But the rest of the site works with no issues. So I cleared my cache/cookies and voila, it works again. So I don't think that NS is actually updating anything and this is a bug.
