Are the Giro TuneUps any good?

they are those inserts that go in your helmet pads, there are a lot of variations by other companies(do other companies versions fit most helmets??)...

but are they any good? do they break after a month? get static? cut out?

is there one brand that's better than the others?

are the Bluetooth one's better?

what do you guys do for your skiing audio?

I have some Scullcandy ones because I didn't want to get ear infections using earbuds. They seem to work fine for what I want. Not audiophile by all means, but a simple and rounded sound. As for quality, they seem to be okay. I haven't put them to much use yet though. The cable on mine seemed like it was sturdy.

I think they're sick. They don't fall off or break and the sound quality is pretty good. You can also hear what's going on around you a bit, kind of like listening to the radio in the car and being able to talk to a passenger - it makes conversations on the lift easier (less admin reaching your phone and lowering volume/pausing etc)
