Ipod touch 4th gen cases for skiing

So I'm looking for a case that I can use while skiing with my ipod touch that is protective enough that I don't need to worry about if I fall on it. I am looking at otter boxes and maybe a life case if I can find one cheep. Any other suggestions?

I've skied four seasons with the same griffin survivor case and my iPod has no scratches on it yet. Knock on wood

It might depend where you keep it. I always keep my ipod in my pocket inside of my snowpants. You never hit yourself there.
