So I have a new-ish computer, it's a desktop that we got about two years ago. It runs really well, and I was stoked when SNOW came out. It says that our videocard is not supported, which is weird, I've never gotten any message like that before. I just ignored it, and the "sys_spec 1, 2, 3, etc" doesn't seem to work, and I also tried "r_width 1366 r_height 768" and that didn't affect the gameplay. It is really laggy, and when I try to turn and jump, my skier reacts to the key pressed like one second after I press it. I'm not really sure why, so any help??
Same thing happened for me. I have a laptop, and it has two graphics cards. One high quality and one low quality graphics card. For some reason my computer ran SNOW on the low performance card, so I had to change it to high performance and it worked fine. Go into your steam folder go to the snow folder. Right click, on SNOW and select "Run with Graphics Card" and click on the high performance one.
Has anyone else found a way of dealing with an unsupported video card. I did all the stuff in the link SNOW posted, but it's still so laggy it's unplayable
