not as good for carving but no real benefit for park skiing. I don't have any need for them

It makes your bindings lower.

loose the lifters unless you race or like to ski like one. it just gives you more leverage for turning.

the lifters give more power out on the edges, and faster edge to edge contact. and you can also carve with your shoulder down (yeah its true), get rid of them if youre not a hardcore carver.

if you plan to do this yourself dont go poking the screws through the bases, they might be too long with no platet

they just help racers to get on edge quicker, probably should stay away from them for park skis

it would really make no difference in 'spin moves' they are for better turning, now stop being a pussy and take them off

i had the same problem. the only thing they do is increase your power to the edges, making you turn easier. this is only a problem when landing, because i fyou land a little sideways or crooked, the ski will wan to turn. some bindings, like the rossi series, have different sized screws for the bindings, the power series has a plate and therefor has larger screws. also, the bindings might not be flush with the ski. the bottem of rossis axial bindings has grooves in it, so all of their bindings without a plate some tih adapters built in so the binding mounts flush. hope this helps

yeah they make truning easier but they make the ski feel like its farther away from your foot which is not good for rails and spins. It doesn't make that big of a deal though I skied on 1998 atomic race skis last yeah with a 50 or so mm underfoot and I could still slide lots of rails and spin up to a 5 ( this year is my first year on twins and first year freestylin) I will say its hard as hell to land 5's or race skis!
