Line v on3p v high society

Hey guys,

In the market for a one-quiver ski this season. 21, 125 lbs, 5'11, about 80/20 all mountain/park (no pipe, just jumps/rails) advanced skier. Home mountain is Whistler but out in Michigan for school and take SB trips usually out west at park city/breck.

Looking at 181 ON3P JMOs, 184 Line SFBs, and 185 High Society FRs. I can get the FRs for cheapest (like 1/2 the price of the other two) but not much out there on how they perform (heard earlier ones had tail delam issues). NS loves SFBs/ON3P so read up a lot on those already. Would appreciate some input.

recommended by friends who are more involved in ski shopping than i am. im open to looking at other skis, just heard good things about the ones i listed.

One ski is 92 under foot, one ski is 98-101 under foot and the other is 108.


I'd suggest that the line Blend is a closer comparison to the JMO, while the Jeffery would be a closer comparison to the SFB. Both ON3P and Line skis have a noticably different feel to them.

Getting a 110ish underfoot ski is luring with the prospects of returning to Whistler and trips to Utah. I think you need to be honest with yourself however, on where you will be doing most of your skiing. Michigan is not know for epic steeps and deep snow. Also, when you are at PC or Whistler, where will you be spending your time? In the park, or out searching for fresh snow a couple days after a storm?

I would choose between the Blend and JMO personally. Both have been shown to work well in the park, and it is quite fun to ski powder on a 100mm wide ski. Just look back a few years and that is what we were all calling our super fats.

I would personally get the J-mo's but another option may also be the Moment PB&J or Tahoe.

My buddy has owned a pair of 2009/10 HS FR's. He loves em. They honestly rip everything. Struggle a bit in powder, but all mountain and park are no problem.
Has ridden them the past 3 seasons. No edge cracks, no delam - granted the first season of ownership he didn't touch park with them.

Please note I have not ridden them so I can't personally say how they ride.
