And for comments and +/- on videos. However the identity of the +/- shouldn't be shown in the notification.

The whole notification thing has been mentioned so many times, it's good to see something is in the pipeline.

Obviously! Almost everything we implement that can be considered "intrusive" comes with the option to turn it off.
