Apples to oranges my friend. Blends are soft, wide park skis more or less and TSTs are hardcore all mountain slaying machines. No park in the TSTs recommended repertoire.
Don't get a ski for something that you are going to try, get a ski that does what you do most of the time on the mountain well, that will also ski park halfway decent.
If you're a beginner or intermetdiate skier, which it sounds like you are. Do not get the TST. The blend would be a great ski to learn on and grow into as you improve your skiing ability.
I used to instruct in Aspen so I'm pretty familiar with the different levels. If you're a level 5 skier, the Blend will be a much better ski for you than the TST.
What's your height/age/weight? And what type of skiing do you like to do? We can give you better suggestions for additional skis to look at if you tell us that info as well.
Are you on trail or both on and off trail? How much of your time do you spend on groomed? On a pow day are you skiing pow all day, or just venturing in to it off of the groomers every once in a while? Do you like going super fast, or just cruising and sliding your tails around?
The blend would be a great ski for you then. I wouldn't even complicate your search by looking further than that. Mid-fat with rocker will be great when learning to ski powder, the rocker will keep you from catching edges as you learn to ski harder/faster, it's still narrow enough that you can make turns on the hardpack with minimal effort. It's a little fat if you're mostly going to be skiing groomers though, but it'd be a great ski to learn to do everything on if you can only have one ski. It'll be more than proficient in the park too.
I would say check out something like the volkl kink in a 163. It will carve fairly well, and not hamper your progression, as fatter skis are harder to get up on edge. It is also wide enough for some one who is less than 120 lbs and has never skied powder but is looking to try it out and has rocker.
If you're 5'6" you definitely want the 171 since it has a rocker. I'm only 5'2" and ski 164 full camber skis and 170ish in rockered skis. That said, I've been skiing for 22 years but my suggestion remains the same.
The Kink is a good suggestion too and I love volkl but I think the 163 would be too short for you once you get better at skiing. If you go for the kink, get the 171 as well since it also has rocker. If you're skiing Whistler though, I think the Blend will be a better fit. Especially once you start learning how much fun powder is.
If you get the blend, don't get the tst, get some thing significantly different to build a quiver. Most people want to get a straight up pow ski, but the blend will do just fine in pow, I would look at a high performance carver when you get better because they can be a kick in the ass! But that is next year.
