So I'm starting to ski park this year, but have a question regarding mount position. I got a pair of surface double times which I would use. Only thing is they are mounted at -5 from true centre as I hardly did any park last year. So my question would be will I be able to manage on -5 as I'll still be skiing more all over the hill the just park or should I move them forward?
Are you still gonna be doing all mtn too? if so i recommend getting them remounted at -1 or -2. If your gonna be doing all park i recommend riding at true center. last year was my 1st real season riding park and i was mounted at true center just riding as a beginner I did great considering I was still learning the basics. (the year before was my first year skiing and i had transitioned into it from snowboarding half way through the season)
ehh, well then its up to you. I wouldnt go above -3 if you wanna get any good at park .I would move it up some either way if your gonna be doing all mountain and park. Remember you only get about 3 mounts on a ski until they are pretty much done so just choose where you want it wisely.
on every ski there is a line where they recommend the middle of your boot should be. if it is in the center, mount it center, if it is back, behind center, mount either there or 1cm past the line (towards the tip). hope i'm making sense.
