So I've been saving up some money for a uwa lens for my t3i. From doing a tad bit of research I have heard these two are the best bang for my buck. Now which one is better? Or is there anything else I should look into? Any suggestions will help!
The tokina 11-16 is the best UWA lens for crop cameras, I wouldn't even consider the 10-22, its f3.5-4.5, isnt anywhere close to the tokina in optics and costs the same as the tokina. You get less range but you shouldn't have that wide of a lens with more than 5mm of range anyways.
Cool I suppose I'll get that then! And is a filter necessary? Mostly use it for followcam skiing. And if so any recommended filter that won't break the bank?
not necessary, just extremely useful.
I'd get a UV, CPL, and ND. Tiffen UV's and CPL's have always been fine for me, pretty cheap. Don't really know enough about different ND's to recommend one, sorry
