wow, i'm surprised you guys haven't seen this before. it's been around for a while. these asian carp are fucking terrible...they completely destroy whatever river they invade. fortunately, they're been contained to a few places, but there's a huge concern that if they reach the great lakes, there will be no stopping them. all of our native fish will be killed and these things will take over the water ways. fortunately, they haven't made it to the river that i live and ski on...yet.

and for those who are curious, they jump because of the sound/vibrations from boat motors in the water....it fucks with them and sends them soaring. people have been seriously injured by these things. imagine cruising down the river at 20-30 mph and you get hit in the face with a couple pound fish....

Me and my buddie take our boat on the Illinois all the time. The fish are 100 pure fucking muscle and launch out of the water and while your boat is going one way and the fish is going the other its a bitch sitting in the front. The bastards are terrible to eat too.

I assume by "wakeboat" you mean wakeboarding boat. that is the farthest thing away from a wakeboarding boat that is a modified fishing boat with a ski pylon added and a volleyball net rigged around it.
