Switzerland decriminalizes cannabis

I think this really just comes to show how important of a figure Swizz Beatz really is in our society.

You still have to pay a fine though. Fuck that. I can just blaze up in the middle of the street no problemo. I thought Switzerland was pretty relaxed (they have heroin/methadone distributing programs for junkies and what not).

I'm not from Switzerland, but I'd rather pay $100 than get convicted for narcotics and have that in my register...

paying a fine is better than having a record...

Doesn't effect resorts, as police are pretty chill on weed in most ski resorts. Can pretty much get a joint at the outside of every bar.

also every Canton has a variation of state law. it's pretty weird over here.

Wasn't all that long ago the Basel had the same laws as Amsterdam with coffee shops.

there were some news articles about swissland making a national minimum wage for all adults of $2800, year or month i forgot. and it does not matter if you work or not.

Ah, for the Valais canton it has always been 2800 CHF. And there was no national though 18-20 CHF per hour was the acceptable "minimum" wage.

But hardly anyone in Switzerland is on minimum wage. People on monthly salaries normally start at 3500CHF for stacking shelfs etc.

As for job seekers, its based on 80% of that 2800. or of your last salary for a period of 2 years. alot of people work for a year then take 2 years job seekers, so they get 80% of 4000 for example.
But it's strict and you have to prove you are trying to seek work weekly. But you have to have at least a B work permit (based off a 12 month contract) to claim job seekers if you are a foreigner and if you take the piss they deport you pretty quick.

In each Canton you have comunes for each region within the canton, and they pretty much all have different laws and choose who gets what... Switzerlands comunes are almost like a mafia. not what you know its who you know and how deep your pockets are. 

That said been here 11 years and love it.
