I have a bunch of my Gopro videos from this summer and I want to be able to move some of them from my laptop to my mac so I can edit them and stuff. The issue is how to transfer them. Originally I used a flash drive, but it takes forever and it seems like once I transfer a video with the flash drive and then take it off of the flash drive, the overall memory on the flash drive decreases and I can barely fit any of the video on it. Is there some way to fix this? Or is there just a better way to transfer all my videos to my computer?
You can create a network by plugging an Ethernet cable between both computers. Or as I can assume you already have a preexisting network, you can share files through that as well. There are literally an infinite amount of ways to get files from point A to point B.
Flash drive is the best option. The issue you were having with it still being full is that when you delete stuff from a flash drive on a mac, you have to empty the trash before you eject the flash drive or the files will just be "hidden" on the drive.
