Line Chronic Bottoms

any of u guys notice the bottom of the ski's colors change for the 2013 and 2014 chronics. the 13 i believe has an orange, black, and white bottom. the 14 has a green/black, orange/yellow, etc. anyone know why the bottoms change?

Essentially what Line and many other ski manufacturers do is called "die cut bases". They use certain colors like for instance, last years chronic' bases; mine are white with black and orange lettering. They do that so they don't waste as many materials and money. It may seem odd but they will use the black bases, lay in the white lettering, and use the excess black base material to put the black lettering on the bases of white-bottomed skis.
