Why is Marge on the B team?

If he's #2 in halfpipe in Canada, and #11 in the world, why isn't he on the A team? Did I miss something?

I don't think it really matters. in the end he'll still get to compete at the Olympics and if he does well, he does well. being on a B team won't mean shit. I could be wrong though
