Is this weird?

I feel like I liked partly cloudy more than most, in my personal opinion i think it might be the best level 1 movie although it is close with refresh and eye trip. I feel like everyone else is sort of just calling it decent some people think its not even as good as any of the past 5 years of level 1 movies (afterdark included). I just don't get it, are people insane? Sometimes I feel like I watched a different movie than others cuz I think every segment in that movie deserved a rewatch

I agree with OP on this. I feel like Partly Cloudy was the best L1P movie since Eye Trip.

the problem is level one movies are only a collection of the coolest tricks and best shots all jammed together into, basically, a super long edit. there's no story- hard to think that any level one movie is that much better than another.

yea and personal music choice is kinda what makes you like one over the other too sometimes since they are all filled with great shots and filming from my fav skiers.

But yea its right up there with eye trip as their best IMO

Without a doubt incredibly hyped on Partly Cloudy. So many banger segments with new/different styles and tricks.

this, eye trip used to be my favorite ski movie of all time, but it is now partly cloudy

I dont think you need any story. I come from a skateboarding background and theres absolutely no camera chat. It is all about just raw trickery and decent sections. Thats why Level 1 videos have always really appealed to me.

Still waiting for PC to arrive but I did rent it as i couldnt wait. I enjoyed it but there's something about refresh and eye trip that i enjoy more. I don't know if it was the timing of the video or the riders and shots they had those years but i really rated them.

I loved Partly Cloudy.

But I loved Eye Trip even more, and I still do. It was the first ski movie I've ever seen, and I just love all the segments. All of them. It has a special place in my heart <3.
