Hey NS,

This past weekend was our last official race of the season. Was a very high point for us winning the Great Lakes Challenge and setting a new lap record. I made a quick video from the weekend to showcase what all went on. I hope you enjoy it, my brother put a lot of time and effort into prepping his racecar, lots of highs and lows, for this past weekend so we are stoked that the season ended the way that it did.

That's pretty cool. I couldn't watch too much of the video because I'm in school so I don't know if you said this, but what series is it?

Yes it is Formula Continental but we run Club Formula Continental... The series is called the Great Lakes Challenge, its a series for Formula Continental's and Club Formula Continentals the only difference is the year the car is made... My brothers car is a 1990 Reynard

And to OP, How much does all this cost? Do you set up and maintain your car yourselves? How many people do you need working to have a successful team? I'm just wondering because I really want to race in the future, but the financial situation is not in my favor...

My brother is an engineer and does all the maintenance and set-up on is own. Our car is officially for sale which we are selling at 12k for car and minimum spares. Budget all depends on yourself, entry fees run between 150-500 depending on the event, if you want sticker tires which are 1k and then food and all those necessities. Our hope is to buy a newer model Formula Continental and run the F2000 Pro Series but we need sponsors which is our biggest priority over the off season.
