Not your typical boot question, help

Alright, so i have had my full tilts for a while now and they are of course since i grow, becoming a little small. Now the thing is im leaving for camp in 9 days and i really want to see if i can push it to use them there, since i dont have the money to blow on a new pair of boots.
My toe reaches all the way to the end and is pushed up agianst the end, would it help if i heatmolded them? i have about 21 days on them.

and a whole another question, why is the liner in the boot size 27 when the shell is 27,5? would that mean i could put a 27,5 liner into them? size 27 & 27,5 is the same shell.

Have the boot fitter blow out the toe so they compress the toe foam I had that done

If you have not already got a footbed start with that. A custom footbed will often make your foot a whole size shorter as it can stop the foot extending when under load. If this is not sufiecent then you could have the toe box blown out to give more room. Always start with a footbed though. Simply stretching a boot without stabilising the foot may mean your foot just slides forward into the extra space and it won't feel any differnt.

Regarding sizes there is no difference between a 27 and 27.5 once bedded in so don't worry about the half size.

As Tom said, most boot work is pointless unless the foot is properly stabilized. Can they do the work, yes, but don't have it done until the foot is stabilized as it may not be necessary.

thanks man. I know this is not ideal for a test but i put my Nike Lunar running shoe sole inside my ski boots and it made them ALOT tighter. Wouldnt it be the same with Sidas Conformable soles? (what they sell in denmark, and they look similiar)

Not at all, what you put in is extra padding without and proper orthopedic support, an orthodic actually changes the way that your foot rests in the boot, not just adds extra material.

No, the difference is a nike insole is flat, so it lets your foot flatten out and lengthen. A sidas will support your medial and lateral arches so help shorten your foot. You would want the liner molding with the new footbed to help the footbed sink into the base of the  liner. It should give you more toe room but may raise your instep slightly, which is usually not a bad thing.

Ah I see. Here is a picture of the sole btw, it has some kind of dynamic support or something which is why it is curved right? I can understand its not the same. But I'll take your advice and go to a bootfitter before i leave and get my boots fixed!

That may look supportive but it wont be offering anything. A proper support would actually fill your arch and be much higher. Go chat to some fitters and see what they recommend.
