So here is how my experience with them has been.
Last winter I bought the 11/12 Trewth bibs from a retailer, as well as the 12/13 Powfunk from their website. I used a coupon for 40% off I was given after a sizing issue with a mis-sized jacket I got off eBay.
I did not get enough use out of the jacket as I would have liked, but those bibs were my second home. They were bar none the greatest and most reliable pants I have ever owned. Hell I could dull my edges on them if need be. I could can elaborate on some anecdotes but they are all along the same lines as, "I am surprised their wasn't a cut after that." They are wicked bomber, simple as that.
Then to my dismay, both pieces delaminated. The crotch of the bibs delaminated EXTENSIVELY, I was heart broken. The jacket, not nearly as bad, but in a pretty crucial spot, surrounding the left chest pocket. Moisture could be felt within the pocket, defeating the purpose of the waterproof zips and all the measures they took to make that pocket great for electronics.
Defeated and sad I sent them an email asking if anything could be done, I was helped out immediately. I was given the option of picking through what remained in their collection by May, or waiting until now and getting this year's brand new gear.
I chose the latter. I was then given a lookbook, in May. I picked out my stuff and waited. A few weeks ago I sent my stuff in, and now I just wait to get the brand new gear.
While I was wicked bummed about the fabric issues– that were really only explicable in the pants– I am beyond stoked for how they treated me as a customer and what they were willing to do to make me happy.
If you read this and think, "well obviously they should replace your gear, it's a lifetime warranty" it's a little bit more complex than that.
