I was going to go full out down hill. Like the kind of course where you take the lift up and pick your line down the mountain.

Alright. You want a solid bike. Triple crown forks are a must.

Easiest way is to look around on craigslist. I've seen some decent Kona's people have made into DH's, specialized, khs, yeti, santa cruz, iron horse...
