810 bindings

i'm having trouble w/my salomon 810's . They're from 02-03 and my boot pops out of the binding easy and the setings are maxed out. Anyone know of a recall or have sugestions?

check the toe peice of ur boot it might be worn down to shit and if not get ur bindings looked at by and expert before u hit the slopes once again

they've been adjusted by a pro and my boots have been checked thats why i'm thinking their was a 'silent recall' or something

A lot of people who have problems with those bindings don't have their toepiece wings adjusted right for your boot. Make sure those are game, other than that I don't know what to tell you.

my 810's were doing the same thing a while back all that i did was adjust the toe height and toe wings to a proper setting and if you don't know how go see a salomon certified tech

you shoulnd't be maxing out your DIN on any binding. There were issues with the older S810, and quite a few people ditched them. Retention was less then constant.

I talked to someone from salomon and they say my boots arent made for the bindings....is it the shops fault for not pointing this out when I first bought my skis/bindings and had them adjusted or is it my-b>?

yea that's bullshit... I don't have salomon in my shop (thank god), but as a techy, i've never seen any boots not fit a binding (well under normal conditions anyways).

I have them and mine are maxed too w/ same prob
this was my fix i just moved the foreward pressure one notch
and havent had a prob yet

why why why would you max them out?
i rock the 810, and the only problems ive had would be with them releasing on rails the odd time. that shouldnt happen.
