Hello everyone, I am currently taking a 35mm film and photo class. I just realized my sister jacked our 35mm camera and took it too Cali. Does anyone have a 35mm Camera they are looking to get rid of for a small price tag?
Just get whatevers available on your local CL. That's the beauty with film camera's: the bodies don't matter. And vintage glass rules. So any body with a 50mm lens will rock.
Haha wait no you didn't! I'm shipping off the k1000 to a friend who will actually use it though and the mv's light meter doesn't work... if someone actually wants it though, they can pay shipping, theres a perfectly good 50mm f/2 on it
actually I am VERY against this assuming you have a smart phone. if you do, download a light meter app, and when you go out to shoot, take a few readings, in the sun, the shade, and deep shadows. Keep those in mind and go shoot, changing as you move in and out of light. After a while you will start to read the light with your eye and wont even need a meter for the most part.
what ever has the best rating, they all work the same for the most part, just a different UI. And with film having more flexibility in exposure, if you are a little off it's not the end of the world and the shot will still come out.
