I just bought adobe premiere and I'm just getting used to the program. If anyone has some extra footage from the season that they want to give me, I'd be happy to make an edit for you (may not be amazing as I just bought the program). PM me if you have some.
I have used fcpX as well and I just prefer premiere. I like the way it sets up better and it seems as if the stuff is easier to work with, if you know how.
I'm right there with you. I've used both, and I settled on Premiere because track-based is just so much easier to organize into and edit multiple clips at once (i.e. audio levels for a whole track, rather than clip by clip). And yeah I just feel that you can be more precise with more ease. Dual playback screens is a good bonus too.
